GRASAG NATIONAL STRENGTHENS COLLABORATION WITH UG MANAGEMENT

The Graduate Students’ Association of Ghana (GRASAG) National, led by its National President, Jimmy Mawuse Adangbe, together with its local executives at the University of Ghana, led by Sadick Abubakari (UG President), paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, and her management team.



Members present on the side of Management included the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo; the Council Chair, Madam Marietta Brew; the Registrar, Mrs. Emelia Naa Kwantsuua Agyei-Mensah; the Director of Public Affairs, Dr. Elizier Taiba Ameyaw-Buronyah; the Dean of the Graduate School, Prof. Patrick Asamoah Sakyi; and the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Rosina Kyeremateng. Representing both GRASAG National and the University of Ghana chapter were Mr. Jimmy Mawuse Adangbe (President, GRASAG National); Mr. Sadick Abubakari (President, GRASAG-UG); Mr. Emmanuel Wesom Achio (Financial Controller, GRASAG National); Mr. Ebenezer Gabson-Gakpo (Deputy Speaker, GRASAG National); Mr. Oheneba William Segbenu (Vice President, GRASAG-UG); Mr. Glenn Gyimadoh (Treasurer, GRASAG-UG); and Mr. Benedict Owusu (PRO, GRASAG-UG).


Among other matters, discussions focused on enhancing the quality and overall experience of graduate students. The delegation also congratulated the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, on her appointment as Chair of the Commonwealth University Council. GRASAG National remains committed to ensuring that the needs and welfare of graduate students are prioritized at all levels.
