On April 1, 2025, as the GRASAG National President, I had the privilege of joining the Hon. Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment, George Opare Addo, in a nationwide campaign against drug abuse dubbed Stop Red.

The campaign began with a live outdoor broadcast in partnership with YFM at Legon City Mall, where important conversations were held on the growing need to combat drug abuse among the youth. Following the broadcast, the team proceeded to Accra for an on-ground awareness campaign, engaging directly with the community and spreading the message of prevention and empowerment.
The Stop Red initiative is a strong call to action for all young people, especially graduate students, to take a stand against substance abuse and support efforts aimed at building a healthier and more productive society.
We therefore call on all graduate students across the country and beyond to lend their voices and support to this important national campaign.
RED means STOP!
Together, let us say STOP to drug abuse and YES to a brighter future.
